Max Venner
Max Venner, born in 1998 in Weert, the Netherlands, completed his High School VWO diploma at the Philips van Horne college in Weert in 2016. Hereafter, he started studying Medicine at Maastricht University, where he completed the Bachelor of medicine in 2019. After three years of internships in different hospitals in the Netherlands, he completed his Master of Medicine in 2023. During his Master he became interested in cardiology with a special interest in heart failure. He did a five month research internship at the Cardiology department at Maastricht University Medical Center (under supervision of Dr. Schalla) about the behaviour of different flow-parameters in the aorta over an entire cardiac cycle using 4D-flow MRI. He finished his Medical degree with 7 months of clinical internship in general cardiology at the cardiovascular department of Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven. After his master, he started working as a clinical PhD-student in the research group of Prof. Dr. Heymans.
In his personal life he loves to spend time with family and friends. He further likes play the piano and do sports including fitness and tennis.
